Will Federer Ever Win the French and will Nadal win Wimbledon

My thoughts on a mens tennis game dominated by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Roger Federer is undoubtedly the most dominating tennis player of our time, but Rafael Nadal owns French Open. Federer beat him on clay last month in Hamburg so I thought he had a chance to take him this year. He couldn't. Nadal is only 21 and he could keep ruling the French for years to come. He also looked great at Wimbledon last year, and went to the finals last year. This year's Wimbledon final will certainly pit the two against each other. I'd still give Federer the edge, but will see how the tournament develops.

A lot of people say that it is not good for tennis to have two players who are so much better than everyone else for so long. I would say that these look like two of the best ever and it is great that they are both playing in the same era - because just watching Federer would be boring and just watching Nadal would be boring, but against each other they make for one helluva rivally that people will be speaking about for decades.

Updated July 7 - They are in fact going to the finals of Wimbledon tomorrow, and I going to go out on a limb and say that Nadal takes Federer in 5 sets.

The tide is about to turn. Nadal's proven he can win off of clay. I am betting on Nadal to take Wimbledon this year.
